How to work mental toughness practice into your routine

In a grueling OCR race, your mental fitness is often more important than your physical fitness. If your mind isn’t ready, it can sabotage you – telling you you don’t belong as you look around at all the buff competitors at the start line, or that you can’t do it when you stand at an obstacle that you fear, or that you should quit when you start feeling fatigued or uncomfortable.

If you’re only paying attention to physical training, you’re only fighting half the battle. Incorporating mental toughness training is an essential part of OCR preparation.
