Build mountain-running strength

Obstacle race course designers are sadistic people. They look for ways to torture you. And if the terrain at their event has any elevation on it, you can bet those course designers will use it to try to hurt you.

You can prepare yourself to take on elevation by building climbing legs. Train yourself like a mountain runner, and you will fear no course (or course designer). recently came out with a circuit routine that aims to build your legs to take on plenty of climbing. Check it out here.
