A Long Island man has filed a lawsuit claiming that he almost lost his leg after it was impaled by a metal object at a Tough Mudder, according to an article on NYPost.com.

Christopher Jurs, 35, says he was sprinting through Electroshock Therapy at Tough Mudder in Englishtown, New Jersey in October 2013 when he was impaled by jagged piece of metal under the sludge that pierced the bone in his knee. He says the wound became seriously infected.
